STAR Touring Cars is a class that is unique to NZ motor sport in that it is a light, fast economical to run car with heaps of power to weight so you get more bang for your buck.

The Toyo R888 tires we run are lasting over two years.

The brake pads are lasting between one and two years.

The bodies are in nine sections, fiber glass, and easy to repair at home.

The chassis are mild steel, easy to weld at home for smaller repairs.

Tow them with a small car on a single axle trailer.

Bodies hinge at the rear for easy maintenance.

Engine freshen up after 12 to 20 meetings.

We build cars to any stage, you can assemble it yourself or we can build it up to turn key stage so that all you need to do is work out what paint scheme you want on your pride and toy.

We have built 30 cars so far and are now affiliated to the Aussie Racers that run with the Aussie V8 Tourers, so watch out for developments in this class as we aim to get bigger ,faster and at more meetings around NZ this coming season.
